Tribal Fever’s Summer To-Do List

It is the slow season for college sports, and if you haven’t noticed, not a whole lot is going on here at the site either. However, there is still plenty to do if you are interested in preparing for another year of great Tribe action along with the Tribal Fever.

First off, BECOME A MEMBER! We can’t stress this enough. None of what we do can be accomplished without a faithful membership base to attend events and show support for our teams. If you are an alumni, we need your support just as much, and we want to keep you in the loop, even if you can’t come to quite as many sporting events as those of us who live right on campus. Joining Tribal Fever is an easy way to keep up with Tribe sports without even leaving home.

Second, whether you are a member or not, GET CONNECTED with Tribal Fever and other Tribe sports fans! There are a number of things you can do to this end. First, for those of you who may not know, Tribal Fever has a huge Facebook network of over 4,000 Tribe students and alum, so find our profile! On a related note, we also have Twitter (http://twitter.com/thetribalfever) and Google buzz (search for thetribalfever@gmail.com). For avid Tribe fans, some other great sites to visit are www.tribeathletics.com and www.caazone.com.

Finally, SPREAD THE WORD! A few people is not enough to really create an effect at games, we need as many people as we can get, and despite the best efforts of our Exec Board, we can’t reach everyone. The best advertising is word-of-mouth, and telling other W&M fans about what we are doing is invaluable to the cause. We all want the Tribe to succeed, and we will help infinitely more if we all pool our efforts!

Tribal Fever is still a young organization, and we are always looking for ways to improve. If you have any suggestions of things that didn’t go well or that we could improve upon, we would love to hear them! Feel free to shoot us an email at thetribalfever@gmail.com, send us a Facebook message, or just comment on this article with feedback. As always, thanks for your support and Go Tribe!

There are opportunities for students and alumni to be part of Tribe Fever…what about a Griffin following “outsider”?
