The women’s tennis team beat Richmond 7-0 to complete the sweep on Senior Day on Saturday, April 10. Seniors Ragini Acharya and Carmen Pop made their last home match one to remember, leading the team to a decisive victory. Ragini had a particularly impressive achievement earlier this season, marking her 100th career victory. She was also named the CAA player of the week for the week of April 4th, along with fellow Tribe teammates Carmen Pop and Anik Cepeda.
This is it for the Tribe in the regular season. The next step is CAA championships in Norfolk, which start Thursday, April 15, and run through the end of the weekend. If you see any of our tennis players, make sure and show your appreciation for the hard work they have put in all season!
